Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the PrépaGo JP application ("the app"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
2. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
The app offers the following auto-renewable subscription that unlocks all premium learning content (full kanji, vocabulary, and grammar libraries, and unlimited review):
- Title: PrépaGo JP Premium
- Length: 1 month, automatically renewing each month
- Price: The current price for your region is displayed on the in-app purchase screen and on the App Store product page before you confirm the purchase.
The following terms apply to all auto-renewable subscriptions:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen plan.
- Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal turned off in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
3. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple through your Apple ID account or reportaproblem.apple.com. We are unable to issue refunds on Apple's behalf.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app or its content.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to bypass subscription mechanisms or access premium features without payment.
5. Intellectual Property
All content in the app, including kanji data, vocabulary, grammar lessons, audio, illustrations, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
6. User Content
Handwriting input and study progress are stored locally on your device and are not collected by us. You retain all rights to any content you create within the app.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Learning content is provided for educational purposes and we do not guarantee any specific learning outcomes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
