PrépaGo JP ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Data Stored Locally
All learning progress, quiz results, review schedules, and preferences are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
1.2 Handwriting Recognition
The app uses Google ML Kit's Digital Ink Recognition to process handwriting input. Handwriting data is processed on-device and is not sent to external servers.
1.3 Text-to-Speech
The app uses pre-generated audio files and on-device text-to-speech for pronunciation. No voice data is collected or transmitted.
1.4 In-App Purchases
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how payment data is handled.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal information (name, email address, phone number)
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Photos, contacts, or any other personal files
3. Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services:
- Google ML Kit (on-device) — for handwriting recognition. Data is processed locally and not shared with Google.
- Apple StoreKit — for managing in-app subscriptions. Handled entirely by Apple.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
4. Data Retention and Withdrawal of Consent
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can reset all progress from the app's Settings screen, or delete all data by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data and constitutes a withdrawal of your consent to any processing described in this Policy.
5. Children's Privacy
The app is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected, the app complies with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) requirements.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
